2024 Payment Deadlines:
2023 4th Quarter Utility Bill Due Date – February 15, 2024
1st Quarter (January-March) Utility Bill Due Date - April 30, 2024
2nd Quarter (April-June) Utility Bill Due Date - July 31, 2024
3rd Quarter (July-September) Utility Bill Due Date - October 31, 2024
4th Quarter (October-December) Utility Bill Due Date - January 31, 2025
Property Tax Payment Due Date – July 31, 2024
You can pay your utility and property tax bills…
In Person:
During Office Hours (Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm)
At the Town of Altona Administration Office by cash, cheque or debit. We do not accept credit cards for these payments. Please make sure to have your bill with you.
After Hours:
In the dropbox outside the Civic Centre entrance by attaching your cheque or cash to the bottom slip of your bill, in an envelope.
By Mail:
Please submit with the bottom portion of your bill attached by mail to:

Online:
If you bank with CIBC or a Credit Union:
You can add us as a payee through online banking by searching “Altona”. Make sure to select either Tax or Utility, and enter the account number found at the bottom left corner of your bill. When entering your account number, please do not enter the “decimal(.)”.
If you bank with another financial institution:
You can check with your financial institution to see if online bill payment is available for the Town of Altona. If not, e-transfer is an option for payment. If you would like to pay by e-transfer, it can be sent to reception@altona.ca. Make sure to add your account number or address to the memo or note line so that the payment can be applied to the correct account.
