The Regional Alternative Education Centre offers a place for mature students of all ages to continue their education. It offers accredited high school courses for those with the goal to complete Grade 12 or who want to upgrade their skills for re-entry into the job market.
For post-secondary education, Red River College, the University of Manitoba, and the University of Winnipeg all provide courses to students while allowing them to remain in their home communities. Distance education allows students the flexibility and opportunity to complete post-secondary courses on their terms.
