This facility is a central gathering place for the community and hosts many events such as hockey tournaments, curling bonspiels, banquets, socials, weddings, recreation programs, meetings, craft facilities, and a place to get together with friends and family. It can also accommodate large trade shows and conventions.
The Millennium Exhibition Centre is a state of the art 75,000 sq. ft. multi-use recreation facility. Main features include:
- Sunflower Gardens Arena – An NHL regulation-size ice rink with seating for over 700
- Running/walking track – Open Millennium Exhibition Centre hours (please see below)
- Baseball/Softball Training Tunnel - Located in the Running/Walking track in the Millennium Exhibition Centre
- Short court facility – Open Millennium Exhibition Centre hours (please see below)
- Curling – 4-sheet rink with both ice level and second level viewing as well as a lounge.
- Meeting Facilities – Including rooms, concession areas, kitchen facilities and banquet seating for more than 400.
- Community Centre Area – Includes large open area, indoor play-land, mini-hockey rink, floor curling & shuffleboard
