Position:

Landfill Summer Staff

Parks Summer Staff

Public Works Summer Staff

Term:

Full-time (40 hours/week) term position from the beginning of May to end of August

Reports to:

Public Works Manager 

Recreation Foreman

Public Works Foreman

Tasks:

cutting grass and other yard maintenance, general site maintenance, customer service including scale operation, payment collection and directing customers to correct disposal areas, equipment washing and more

cutting grass, watering flowers, pruning trees & bushes, festival & event work, landscaping, general maintenance and more

Assets:

experience operating equipment such as a riding mower, weed whackers, etc. Experience with customer service and/or operating heavy equipment

Required:

a valid driver's license, CSA approved footwear, between the ages of 15-29, criminal record check

Salary:

$16.15/hour - $18.15/hour, dependent on experience
