Notice of Application for Revised Water & Wastewater Rates

The Town of Altona (Town) has applied to the Public Utilities Board (Board) for revised water and wastewater rates for the Altona Water and Wastewater Utility (Utility) as set out in By-Law No. 1839/2026, read the first time on March 24, 2026. Current rates were last approved in Board Order No. 5/18. The application includes an application for recovery of a 2024 operating deficit using the Utility’s working capital surplus.
Details of the Town’s application are available for review at the Town’s office or the Board’s office. Any questions concerning the application for revised rates, or the operation of the Utility, should be sent directly to the Town.
