Land Acknowledgement

The Archives is located on Treaty 1 territory. This land is the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation. We respect the treaties that were made on these treaty areas and we dedicate ourselves to moving forward in partnership with our Indigenous communities in a spirit of truth, reconciliation, and collaboration. We are all treaty people
