Craig Smiley
Councillor
Represents the residents of Altona in the following committees and boards:
- Manitoba Sunflower Festival Committee
- Altona & District Health Care Centre
- Red River Basin Commission - South Chapter
Craig Smiley was elected to the Town of Altona Council in 2022, and elected Deputy Mayor in 2024. Craig has called Altona home for nearly 25 years, and is very invested in the community along with his wife and three kids. For 20 years, Craig was a member of the Borderland School Division Board, spending 14 of those years as chair. He also served his community as a member of the Altona Minor Hockey Executive for four years, three of which he was chair. He looks forward to bringing his experience into his new role as Councillor.
