The Altona Police Service needs your help…

On the 9th day of January 2012, Altona Police attended to both Parkside and Westpark Schools in regards to  complaints of grafitti as pictured below.  After speaking with Administrators, both incidents appear to have occurred over the January 7/8th weekend and Police have reason to believe they are related.  Anyone with information regarding this offence are urged to contact the Altona Police Service, or fill out the anonymous tip form here (web form).

During the first week of April 2011, Police received a number of complaints of vandalism that had occurred over a short time period.  The mischief was in the form of red spray paint, and the markings appear to be gang style “tagging”.  Anyone with information regarding this offence are urged to contact the Altona Police Service.

Break and Enter and Arson
On the 23rd day of May 2009 Members of the Altona Police Service attended to a rash of Home Invasions that occurred between the hours of 11:30pm and 3:30am, in the SW area of the Town.  The Subject(s) involved were extremely bold as  they confronted home owners in several of these incidents.  It is believed that in an attempt to distract Police, the Suspect(s) lit a storage shed on fire, which spread to the near-by residence as well.

Police believe the Subjects involved may not be residence of Altona, and may have been attending a local event earlier that evening.

***Police pay for information which leads to a conviction***
